Window project

The most structurally integral barn is the workshop where we keep most of the tools.
It has excellent ventilation and naural light.
But the ventilation let's in more than just air. You'd thing that with this overhang it wouldn't be a problem, but each time there's a thunderstorm, everything inside gets wet.

So, some windows were wanted before winter.

This is one of the windows in the old house. By coincidence, they fit, if rotated by 90 degrees.


A couple of weeks of sanding and woodstaining and two new panes of glass later.....


And they don't look too bad.

First one installed:
