This is my litter sister. You wouldn't believe it because we couldn't be more different - looks and personality wise. She's the reason why there is a theory that we are the result of a pedigree ragdoll mating with a feral tabby. I have all the spoilt domestic genes and Tiggy has all the practical genes. She's even got a practical name and certainly got the hunting thing sorted early on. Although that equally could have been a result of being abandoned to starve as kittens. Nothing like early hunger to concentrate the mind on where the next meal is coming from.
Like me, Tiggy has several names.
Her original name was Risa. Which means Lynx in Slovenian. Very apt. There are still wild lynx in Slovenia. Not many though.
Princess Pea.
Because sometimes she looks so prim and proper.
Squiggy Tiggy.
Because when she is rolling around on her back wanting her head scratched, she just looks so squiggly.
We sometimes fight like sisters. But we love each other too.

Squiggy tiggy looks like a long fluffy worm with a cats head in the last shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting, because I'm often called a furry slug. Clearly human understanding about animal classification is not quite the same as how we cats undersand it. Wuwu.
