A rainy bank holiday weekend means this room is now one step closer to being a guest bedroom.

Every year, in November, we take the same photos around the farm.

The view through the farmhouse door has changed little.

The old farmhouse still crumbles, but look at the fabulous new well top.

The back of the farmhouse still looks terrible, but the scrub looks better maintained. All that stump thumping paying off.

The capelica almost looks like it has a garden

The end of the house has collapsed another floor. And two fruit trees have arrived in the foreground.

And here's the source of planning delays, the old barn.

 Not much change visible here, but a swing, a dartboard and windows have made it a decidedly nicer place to be.

 You can just about see the garden of productivity on the slope behind the kozolec.

 The chimneys seem to grow as the roof largely disappears. 

And finally, a celebration of the tree free, and child safe well.
